Background
Ukrok knows no armour but war-paint and the bones of his kills. Crowned with feathers and coarse hair, he hoists a stone-tipped spear above his head, ready to drive it home with a shriek. Skulls swing from his belt and a crossed-bone fetish hangs over his bare chest, charms of the spirits he believes turn arrows aside. He hardly needs them: he runs faster than fear. Where civilisation ends, his war-cry begins.
