Background
Twenty orcs shod in leather and iron, round shield in one fist and spear in the other, forming a hedge of points that no charge breaks cleanly. They grunt as one while lowering the shafts, flat faces leering behind bucklers dented by a hundred battles. They aren't the tribe's fiercest, but they're the ones who hold. A wall of orcs with teeth: the wall that holds the line while the rest do the killing.
